The department has developed a leading transfer pricing practice in strategic partnerships with the most established TP economists; such practice includes assistance in the design and structuring of the group TP policy , TP audits and litigations. TP assistance includes the drafting of the documentation, the APAs with the Italian tax authorities (or bilateral APAs in USA and EU), TP disputes and litigation where the firm operates truly as a team with litigators and TP experts involved on each file. Papotti has been advisor to the Italian Authorities and Institutions for some draft decrees, implementing TP adjustments and procedures, and edited a book reporting the relevant domestic implementing measures of the EU Directive, agreement procedures and arbitration outcomes.
